Thomas J. Uttech, age 29 of Kenosha, died at his home on Sunday, July 16, 2017, due to another tragic heroin overdose.
Born in Kenosha on March 5, 1988, he was the son of Dean Uttech and Sonja Lane Cantrell. He attended Bullen Jr. High School and Bradford High School. Tom continued his education and attended Barber College at Success Barber School in Chicago, IL.
He was a talented barber and enjoyed cutting and styling his family and friends hair. Tom was most recently employed with Parker Plastic.
He will always be remembered as quiet and friendly. Tom could always find the good in others and he was willing to go above and beyond to lend a helping hand.
Tom will always be remembered by his father, Dean Uttech; his brother, Michael Uttech; his sister, Jaymee Smith; his paternal grandmother, Betty Trost; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Roberta Bevins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sonja Lane Cantrell; his paternal grandfather, Chuck Uttech; and his step-grandfather, Larry Trost.

A time of sharing will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home.
It's especially sad when someone so young is gone.
