
Dolores “Lorrie” Parise

Dolores “Lorrie” Parise, age 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Born in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Jacob “Jack” and Hazel (Fisher) Pfeiffer.
A lifetime resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools.
On July 6, 1946, in Valparaiso, IN, she was united in marriage to Leonard O. Parise. They were blessed with five children and almost 71 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on June 9, 2017.
Lorrie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and baking homemade Italian specialties and traveling with her husband. She loved carrying on family holiday traditions and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.
Dolores is survived by five children, Kathy (Pete) DeBartelo, Len (Sandy) Parise, Mary (Mike) Rugg and Jack (Amy Wells-Parise) Parise, all of Kenosha and Barbara (Joseph) Probst of Mukwonago and her “ third son”, Joey (Eileen) Falcone of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Peter DeBartelo, Shane (Janelle Ebner) Rugg, Chris (Amy Frayer) Rugg, Lenny Parise and Bradley (Sarah) Parise; ten great-grandchildren, Amanda (Josh), Vinnie, Phoebe, Talia, Gabriella, Mia, Paxten, Sophia, Christopher and Logan. She was further survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Pfeiffer, many nieces and nephews and was expecting her first great-great grandchild, Laila Rose, in October.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul “Buzzy” Pfeiffer and a sister, Iris Pfeiffer.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki- Althaus Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
Kathy, Lenny and family, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She is with the love of her life. I always loved coming to your house and as the years passed enjoyed seeing them out around town. My sympathies.
