Joan A. Seleski, age 87, of Kenosha, died on Friday, December 15, 2017.
Born in Kenosha on September 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Floyd A. and Leone (Gerber) Derwae.
On June 18, 1955, she was united in marriage to Stanley E. Seleski at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Stanley passed away in 2002.
She is survived by her children, Mary “Toni” Pelletier, Stephen (Carrie) Seleski, Jon A. Seleski and Tamara (“Shep”) Shepard; five grandchildren, Kris, Katie, Ryan, Rachael and Jodi; four great grandchildren, Richie, Jr., Sammy, Elena and Nick and many great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Roger Derwae.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth, Bruce, Louis and Marilyn.
Service Info
Funeral Services honoring Joan’s life will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720-39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

SANDRA P AMBROSINIDear Seleski Family, I know we have not been in contact for quite a few years, but growing up I have very fond memories of all of you and my heart goes out to you at this time of sorrow. Your mom was a great person and I really enjoyed spending Christmases with your family along with other times of the year. The friendship I had with Tammy for many years was a great time and I have thought of her and your family over the years and wondered how everyone was doing.
