Patricia M. Pfarr, age 88 of Kenosha, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on December 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kalous) Moses. She graduated from St. Mary Springs Academy, Marquette University and received her Master’s degree from Carthage College.
Pat enjoyed teaching in Kenosha beginning with St. Mary’s High School, then St. Mark Elementary School, McKinley Junior High, Lance and Jane Vernon. She loved art, antiquing, archeology, writing, reading and the theatre. She served on the board of the Kenosha Art Association, the Archeology Society, and Friends of the Library, Kemper Center, Kenosha Museum, and the Junior Women’s Club. She was a volunteer at Kenosha Hospital and Kenosha Art Center. The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and her neighborhood book club were favorite activities that she enjoyed with friends.
She is survived by her daughters Mary (Michael) Burnett of Racine, WI and Ann (Michael) Wade and granddaughter, Ashley Wade of Roscoe, IL and her brother, James Moses.
Along with her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brothers John and Herbert.
Service Info
Funeral services honoring Pat’s life will be held on Friday, August 10th, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7117 14th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
