Mary Irene Dersnah, age 82, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Born in Bruce Crossing, Michigan; she was the daughter of the Chester and Dorothy (Pietila) Allen.
On April 5, 1980 she married James Dersnah.
Mary was in administration at St. Catherine’s Hospital, retiring after 38 years of service.
A member of the Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church; Mary enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was a wonderful baker, famous for her delicious desserts. Spending time with her family is what she really cherished.
Mary is survived by her husband, James; her children, Lynnette (Mark) Galisdorfer, Eric (Sandra) Juopperi, and Phillip Juopperi; her step-children, Shelley (Marty) Morelli, Deborah Dersnah and Donald (Lauren) Dersnah; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister, Elizabeth Linnemann.
Service Info
A visitation for Mary will be on Saturday, July 11th from 10a.m. until noon at Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church, 12323 Green Bay Road. Service will be private. Masks are required for the visitation and the service.

Joanie SturyczMy condolences to the family. I worked with Mary for many, many years at Old St. Catherine's in Surgery. She was always smiling and was so friendly. On time, she gave me a clipping from her mother or grandmother's shamrock plant. I gave it to my mother and she had it for many years and now my sister has a plant from a clipping of my mom's plant. She will be missed. Rest in Peace Mary!

Rose Daniel (Rose Bilotto)Sorry to hear of Mary's passing. My brother in law Joe ran into you at the Dirt pile and Told me. Jim and Family :Prayers have been said for Mary. She was a Good friend and coworker. We worked together in Med Rec at Old St. Catherine's Hospital Many beautiful memories of Mary and Jim helping us with our move in 1986. And the St. Catherine's activiity group that went Wolf River White water rafting. Both you and Mary saved Frankie and me that day! I recall dinner at your home, too. live in Ilinois now.
