January 3, 1940 -
January 29, 2021

Roberta K. Odegaard, age 81, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Froedtert South-Pleasant Prairie.
Born in Kenosha on January 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Lindemann) Knight. Roberta was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School.
On June 23, 1962, Roberta was united in marriage to Daniel V. Odegaard.
She was employed as a Supervisor with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, until her retirement.
Roberta was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church where she took pride in serving on the parish council and finance committee. She also was a CCD teacher and assisted with the parish festival.
For many years Roberta volunteered her time in organizing and hosting the Summer Arts and Craft Fair at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed going to The Fireside Theater; but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was many things to many people, a loving mother, a caring grandmother and great-grandmother, a supportive sister, a dear friend and kind neighbor. She will be missed by her children, Robert J. (Lourelli) Odegaard, Lisa O. Lee and Thomas J. (Karen) Odegaard; her grandchildren, Nicholas Lee, Gerod (Megan) Odegaard, Jaira (Kymberlie) Burris, Heath (Katie) Odegaard, Taylor (Stormie) Lee, Jessica (Raphael) Johnson, Coleton Odegaard, Michael Odegaard and Victor (Morgan) Odegaard, Aislinn Vega and Anjelynne Vega; her great grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Landon, Carsyn, Cohen, Natalia, Olivia, Adalynn, Aubriana, Owen, Zane, Sophia, Brooks, Madison and Emmitt; her siblings; Karen Gallion, Barbara Knight-Brown, Floyd (Sandy) Odegaard, Zoraida Odegaard, Donald (Carol) Odegaard, Marianne (John) Mikkonen and John (Becky) Thomas; her best friends, Mildred (John) Nutini and Pearl Wegner; and her special grand-dogs, Ginger and Watson.
In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel V. Odegaard; her son, Michael P. Odegaard; her grandson, Michael J. Lee, Jr; her in-laws, Clint Gallion, Martin Brown, Ronald Odegaard, and Marlene (Odegaard) Thomas.
A special thanks to the staff of Froedtert South-Pleasant Prairie and her niece, Chrissy Meyer Knight for their wonderful care and assistance to the family.
