Mark M SocknessMy deepest sympathies to Vern's family. I worked with Vern at AMC in the 70s and 80s. He was a true professional and I learned a lot from him. May all the fond memories and laughs shared with Vern aid you in overcoming your grief.

Jim VescovaTo the family of Vern. I first meet Vern when I was a teenager still living with my dad and mom back in the sixty's. He was working with my dad along with Lenny, and Doc, . at AMC. They sure could have fun together. Ex special at my mom and dads Xmas party's . They would always be there for one other. I think they spent more time together outside work than inside. When I started working for AMC the highlight of my days was visiting the master mech office were your dad worked along with my dad. Your dad even helped me laying tile flooring and putting up paneling in the new home I built in Somers in 1974. Your dad was one in a million. They don't get any better. When you hear other people talking about there fathers just know this, you had the best. After my dad past away and Amc broke up we kinda lost track of one another. Am sorry we did. I think there all gone know. Gee I miss my old friends. If you could remember to let me know if you have a memorial for Vern I like to be there.
