
Doris L. Johnstone

Doris Johnstone (nee: Keller), age 97, passed away at Parkside Manor on Thursday February 4, 2021.
Born on December 11, 1923; she was the daughter of the late Elwyn Keller and Stella (Olson) Keller-Fulmer, and step-father Felix Fulmer. Doris attended Kenosha schools, and was later employed for many years as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.
On July 5, 1947, Doris was united in marriage to Dan Johnstone in Kenosha. They met at the Eagles Club in Kenosha while dancing the night away.
Doris loved gardening- having a passion for roses in particular, and was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Donna) Johnstone of Florence, AZ, John Johnstone of Wausau, WI, and Denise (Jim Tostrud) MacDonald of Kenosha, WI; her grandchildren, Michael Johnstone, Jay (Jessica) Johnstone, Jeana (Brett) Leonard, Alec Johnstone, Sean MacDonald, Christopher (Julie) MacDonald, Sarah MacDonald; and her great-grandchildren, Dan Johnstone, Sarah Johnstone, Elizabeth Johnstone, Ian Johnstone,Vito Bortolotti, Nicolo Bortolotti, Nevaeh Leonard, Ellie MacDonald, Patrick MacDonald.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Johnstone; her brothers, Ralph (Elma), Donald, and Robert Keller; and son-in-law Patrick MacDonald.

Funeral services honoring Doris’s life will be held privately.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
