Alice Elizbeth Henry, age 82, passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 26, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born in Shreveport, LA on September 20, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Violet (Gates) Scott. She received her LPN degree from Gateway Technical College.
Alice was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Marvelettes.
Over the years, she worked for Kenosha Unified School District, was employed as a Sorter for 35 years with Snap-on Tools, and then as a nurse with Kenosha Hospital until her retirement.
Alice enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Jackson, Gwendolyn Reams, Lewis Reams and Antoinette Hollis; her grandchildren, Robert, QuNashia, TarNika and Darrius Jackson, Elizabeth Edwards, Caleb and Jenelle Reams, Shaqualla Henry and Gary Hollis; her 22 great-grandchildren; her 2 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Christina Bankhead.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Renford Henry; her grandsons, Joseph Reams and Jermaine Edwards; her siblings, John L, Felix, Mary Scott, Marie, Overton.
Service Info
Homegoing services and honors by the Wisconsin Nurses Honor Guard for Alice will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Piasecki Funeral Home 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha.
A visitation for Alice will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
