Ruben Franco

Ruben Franco Jr., age 73, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
Born on August 21, 1950, he was the son of Ruben and Adela (Valverde) Franco. Ruben grew up attending local schools and graduated from Temper High School in 1968.
On December 19, 1970, Ruben married his high school sweetheart Connie Gennaccaro at First United Methodist Church and they remained happily married until her passing on November 18, 2021.
Longtime member of Journey Church where he faithfully and actively served as their custodian for many years.
Ruben worked at Johnson Motors for over 20 years. He also worked at the family run business, Franco’s Cleaners on 60th Street for over 20 years.
Always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and others. Ruben enjoyed cooking, dancing and loved fashion.
He leaves behind many joyful memories for all of us. His love of life, his dreams for his children and his love of family as well as others who loved him. Ruben will be dearly missed by his daughters, Tasha Franco and Tiffani Franco; his grandson, Dante Franco Alexander; and his siblings, Olivia Downs, Sally Smith, Ruby Garcia, Daniel Franco, Robert Franco and Charlie Franco.
In addition to his parents, Ruben was preceded in death by wife, Connie Franco; brother, Bobby Franco and his in-laws, Sylvester and Eleanor Gennaccaro.
