Gloria SchlatterI am sorry to hear of Edith’s passing. She was a special lady. Besides my admiration for her compassion and love of fostering 40 kids, I admired her zeal for justice and unwavering faith. These qualities were evident while in my Bible study - in her reaction towards those whose plights were dire. She loved! Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace minister to Joe and entire family - that peace, comfort, and strength be their portion! Love from Pastor Mark & Gloria Schlatter

Libby OrdemanI remember when Edith first got to the Rio Grande Valley, everything was so new to her-foods, culture, church. But she braved through all the changes and made some good friends and had people who loved her. She was always ready to help out and be a part of our community. Pastor Bob and I were blessed to have both her and Joe in our congregation!
