Scott D. Honey

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Scott Honey on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital at the age of 69. He was born on October 2, 1956, to the late Lee and Edris (Sorenson) Honey.
In 1996, he was united in marriage to Edna Mack.
Scott dearly loved his grandkids Violet and Nathan. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewer’s fan.
He is survived by his son, Chad Stowell; his siblings, Mark Honey, Brett Honey and Joeleen Riemer. Scott's laughter, warmth, and compassion touched the lives of many. He brought joy to moments both big and small, and his spirit will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death his wife, Edna Honey.
Services honoring Scott’s life will be held at a later date.

June 22, 2026I met Scott as a man named Bear, introduced to me by Danny Wilmot, at his bar, Danny's. I was a young snot nosed upstart fresh out of the USMC. It wouldn't be long before I would start working there, as Scott had done. There was always adventure to be found, and Scott and Danny would widen me up to avoid most of them. As young and reckless as I was back then, I consider it a privilege that they welcomed such a young boy into their club. They were my heroes of wisdom...and ruckus, when required, right out of a comic book! When the bar closed and it was time to move on, I lost track of Scott. Fast forward to the last few years, I was reaquainted with Bear when I delivered to his house. We barely recognized each other, but it all came back rather quickly. So begun a recaptured friendship where we would talk for hours of the current UFO Disclosure and anything and everything, nothing was off limits. The one subject he loved returning to the most was his beloved Edna. I could feel the pain in his heart as he would paint vividly warm episodes of their love together. I was hurt when I saw his last post on fakebook. It hit harder still, when I saw some of his things outside his home. I had hoped he was still alive, just in a bad way. As with all things from the gut, the spirit, when Danny told me the sad fact, I had all the clues I needed, but wasn't ready to accept. Now, he's in a better place, holding his beloved Edna, where he longed to be. He's in a better place, without time and pain. A heart too beautiful for this ignorant world in which we all must carry on. Thank you for giving me your time and the loving history you felt so comfortable in sharing with me❤️

May 28, 2026I will surely miss you my friend. I got to know you from my brother and I'm so grateful for that as we all became such good friends. We had such wonderful times back in the 70's. Loved going to Davis Park and kicking back with all the friends. One of our favorite meeting places was Dave S.'s basement which were some crazy times! I'll never forget that laugh of yours. It was so infectious. RIP my good friend!

I have met many people in my life but I can count on only one hand the number of true friends that I have. I always considered it a great priviledge having you as one of them. At least now you are able to join your Edna again. RIP Bear1

May 14, 2026I will remember “Bear” as a kind and a happy-go-lucky guy.A man in whom always enjoyed life to the fullest.His unique laugh was part of his wonderful personality. I remember the numerous of good times along with my two brothers that we shared with “Bear”. He will be missed immensely by many people. RIP my friend.
