Having as much knowledge as possible about the preplanning process – and your options – will certainly help to curb any fear you may have. Preplanning is one of the most comforting things you’ll ever do for you and your family.

It’s Easy

You can take your time choosing arrangements that best suit your needs and preferences. Planning a celebration of life involves a lot of decisions. Traditional burial or cremation? A funeral and visitation with religious elements or a memorial with a secular eulogy? These are very personal choices, some with cultural and religious implications. You can create a plan, at any stage in your life, and make changes later if you wish.

It Lets You Decide How You’d Like To Be Remembered

Creating your own unique life celebration allows you to make sure that your wishes and desires are carried out upon your passing. However you decide to be celebrated, preplanning and preparation gives you control over the personal decisions that must be made when a person dies.

“Ron answered all my questions, making it easy and comfortable. Preplanning my funeral took the burden off my surviving family members and gave me peace of mind. I tell all my friends I took care of my arrangements and encourage them to do so as well.” – Sonja B.

It Brings Peace Of Mind For Your Family And Friends

When a loved one passes, the family faces an overwhelming amount of information, tasks and decisions – all while struggling through grief and a range of difficult emotions. By taking care of your arrangements before the time of need, you’re relieving them of that strife. They can instead focus on what matters: saying goodbye and celebrating your life.

It Gives You The Ability To Prepay, If You Wish

While pre-funding your funeral is certainly required in order to preplan, pre-payment means that your funds will be set aside, and your family won’t have to worry about payment. Even if you have a life insurance plan in place, waiting on an insurance payout could take weeks whereas with pre-funding, the money will be available at the time of need.

What If I Move?

Once you create your pre-plan with us, we store it in our files as a record of your final wishes and decisions. Your plan can be transferable to another funeral home in the United States, so it can be used wherever you might choose to relocate. If your plan is pre-funded, you’ll be relieved to know that the money does not go to a specific funeral home, rather to an insurance company. The funds will be made available at the time of need, regardless of where you’ve moved to.
