The Military Funeral Honors Program (MFHP) in Wisconsin provides a final tribute to the men and women who served our state and nation honorably as members of the U.S. armed forces. Piasecki Funeral Home will assist in obtaining a dignified military service whether a burial or cremation based on the honorable service given to our country. Once the service record (DD214) is verified, we will apply for military honors you desire that can include riffle firing, flag presentation and taps. Our staff will coordinate the arrangements of a visitation, cremation or burial in a national, state or private cemetery. Memorial services at any one of the meticulously maintained VA national cemeteries are provided at no charge to veterans, their spouses and any other eligible family members. The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs operates state veteran cemeteries in Spooner, King, and Union Grove, Wisconsin. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) services offered to veterans can save families money.
