I worked with Renee at Southport Elementary from 2000, until she retired. As a teacher, her room was always a structured and calm environment that engendered learning and a sense of safety, especially for special needs students who I worked with in her class. In addition to being a coworker, Renee was my good friend. She was a shoulder to lay my head on during times of sadness, she gave good hugs, and she was a good listener. My husband and I attended her church as guests, on a few occasions, and were warmly welcomed by everyone. We loved the annual potluck that followed the church service in late winter. Renee, I am so proud of Denee for taking such good care of you, during your time of need. You are so loved by your family and your community.

To the children: Your mom was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have known. As a teacher, she was a beacon for children to follow to success in life, and as her principal, it was an absolute privilege and pleasure to work alongside her! My prayers are with you as you work through this difficult time. Know that mom is telling you everything will be all right, because that’s what she would do! Tim and Sharon Miller

We are saddened to read that our long-time friend Renee passed away. We met Renee when we were students at UW-Oshkosh. We were the apartment managers, Renee was one of the renters. Our paths crossed often here in Kenosha as we and she both spent our careers here in Kenosha. Rest in peace, dear Renee. Excellent job done here.

We are greatful that you were Bailey's teacher. We will never forget your beautiful voice singing RESPECT at Reuters during a Soutport concert. Later in life I was able to visit you at home over some Marketplace deals. You were a pleasure to know. I think we hear you singing in heaven just now.
