Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintWith great sadness, we announce the passing of Raymond R. Zuzinec, Sr. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on December 9, 1938, to the late Andrew and Mildred (Burg) Zuzinec. He was a graduate of Bradford High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Raymond dedicated his entire career to Snap-On Tools, beginning in 1957 as a draftsman, until his retirement as General Manager of Manufacturing and Technology in 1998. His creative mind was instrumental in securing several patents throughout his career. During his time with Snap-On, he also held positions in numerous professional organizations including President of Equipment and Tool Institute, Chairman of the American National Standards Institute, and President of Rotary International.
In March 1957 he was united in marriage to Patricia J. Capponi at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI.
Raymond enjoyed woodworking, boating, driving his Corvette, and especially golf. His love for this sport led him to the role of Chairman of the Grounds and Greens Committee at the Kenosha Country Club. He was an avid fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and the Chicago Cubs, but most of all; he loved being with family and friends.
He leaves behind his sons, Raymond (Kim) Jr., James, and Mark (James) Zuzinec; his daughter, Susan Ricchio, brother, Ralph (Pat); sister, Patricia; his 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; brothers, Robert and Gerald.

A celebration of life will be held for Raymond on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Stella’s Casa Capri, 2129 Birch Rd., Kenosha, WI.
