There were times I came over looking for Cassie (daughter) & ended up staying for Laurie. We had long conversations during those times and I always left feeling happy. Over the years of being a younger family friend, it was obvious Laurie & Mike unofficially fostered those in need... be it neighborhood friends or their children's friends. She took the time to listen to my stories/papers for school or watch our choreographed line dances we worked so hard on as kids. She was fun, caring and it was always a treat when she "decided" (convinced into) coming in the pool with us :) I truly look forward to seeing her again (Isaiah 26:19) under the best of conditions (Psalm 37:29) <3

So sorry for your lost. Sometimes it's hard to find the right words. This ido know , the feeling of a part of yourself torn away loosing someone so dear to your heart. As much distance we had, your Mom was always there for me, as she has done with many. I will cherish her out of the blue wit ,beautiful eyes and smile and caring nature to all. God bless to you Mike, Cassie and Paul, all my love, and peace to my dear friend in heaven . Amen

Remembering all the memories of being together as family birthdays, christmas and family get together. Lots of laughter. Sending hugs to you all. May Laurie rest in peace. Hugs

Laurie and I hung around while at Washington Jr. High and had fun and got into occasional mischief together. She was always so fashionable had her hair done so beautifully. I was a tomboy but we laughed, rode our bikes and enjoyed being kids together. We got back in touch many years letter. So sorry to hear of her passing.
