Born in 1929 in East Prussia (Ostpreussen), Germany, he was the beloved son of the late Otto and Helene (Fallak) Half. Heinrich immigrated to the United States in 1951, settling in Kenosha, where he built a life of hard work, family, and love.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army from July 21, 1953 to May 17, 1955.
A skilled carpenter, Heinrich worked for Infusino Brothers Construction Company and was a dedicated member of Carpenter Local 161. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church for 39 years.
On October 29, 1955, Heinrich married Ilse Asmussen at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. Together, they shared a remarkable journey of love and partnership for 69 years, raising their family with unwavering dedication and care.
Heinrich was a proud and loving father to his daughters Barbara (Mark, deceased) Paulsen, Susan King, Lisa (Steve) Hershey, as well as his son, Stephen (Kim) Half. He was also a cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Heinrich is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Helene Half and his brothers, Bruno Half and Horst Half.

A visitation for Heinrich will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
The service may be viewed via livestream on the following link facebook.com/PiaseckiFuneralHome/live/. You do not need Facebook to watch.
Interment with full military honors will follow in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
