While excelling in his career as a lawyer he also experienced great achievements outside of the legal world. He had always been active in the Boy Scouts and achieved their highest honor, The Silver Beaver. He also had been elected Kenosha’s Man of The Year in 1965.
Throughout his life, Dwayne had a passion for gardening and landscaping, photography and framing, and certainly painting. He was a craftsmen when it came to taking other people’s creative visions and bringing them to life with his artistic ability. At the age of 90 he was still meticulously painting toy soldier dioramas.
Family was prioritized above all else in Dwayne’s life with a strong commitment to all of them. He is survived by his loving son, Judson (Cynthia) Shaufler, adored grandchildren, Melinda (Wilbur) Warren IV, Ashley (Neil) Harrington III, and Brent Shaufler, along with cherished great-grandchildren, Wils Warren V, Hadley Warren, Allison Harrington, and Henry Harrington.

Dwayne will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
A private graveside burial will be held for immediate family to honor Dwayne, whose life was full of honor, wisdom and kindness.
