With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brian K. Anderson, a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend, who left this world on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 69 after a 9-month battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final hours. Born in Kenosha, WI on June 2, 1955, to Earl and Jeanne (Hammel) Anderson. He was a graduate of Tremper High School.
On August 29, 1981, he married the love of his life Maureen Powers.
In his earlier years he was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He enjoyed being a Bucks season ticket holder and would have loved to see them go to the playoffs. Brian had a love for live music and spent time listening with his wife and friends. He was a role model in the local recovery community and a revered mentor to other people in recovery. He was a “jack of all trades” and knew a bit about everything from small engine repair to gardening and was always willing to use his skills to help others. He worked hard as a machinist at LPI, Abbott Laboratories/Hospira, and Ocean Spray, where he was awarded employee of the year. After retirement he loved spending time with family, traveling, and helping to care for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen; his daughters, Michelle (Bryan) Koss, Rachael (David) Wright and Janelle (Corey) Heim; his grandchildren, Connor, Della, Veda, Bryson, Calvin, Ava, McKenna and Owen; his siblings, Mark (Margie) Anderson, and Linda Milke and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Thomas Powers; his brothers, Craig and Scott Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Daniel, Dennis, and Patrick Powers and William “Bill” Milke, and his niece, Jennifer Powers.
Service Date April 18, 2025
SERVICE LOCATION Funeraria Piasecki
A visitation for Brian will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha. WI.
Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.

abril 17, 2025just found out about Scott’s brother Brian’s recent passing, I knew both of them fairly well from my time in the Racine Kilties. My dad also knew their dad Earl (the pearl) from the Kenosha VFW. RIP Scott. WWBD If anyone has any pics of Scott and Brian in their Kiltie uniforms, please let me know. ???????

You always remained so pure to me. Thank you for always keeping me close to your heart. As I will always keep you close to mine. May you rest easy, and stay close to you girls.

abril 15, 2025Dearest Maureen, Michelle, Rachael, Janelle and family, We are so completely heartbroken over your loss. We know how hard Brian fought his illness so that he could be there for you. Talking with Brian, his illness was not his biggest fear. It was his fear of not being able to be here to take care of his beloved family. Please know that he will never leave you. He will always be there with you. Watching, caring, worrying and always wishing for the best for his family. You will always be able to talk with him. Ask him a question, and be sure that he will always have the right answer for you. You were all his world!! Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with you all. For more than 50 years it has been our honor to have such a wonderful person for a friend. Through the countless good times, and some not so good, Brian was always there for support. We have tried to be there for him as well. The memories are overflowing with the great times we shared with Brian and Maureen over the years, (so happy we got to go see Ringo together last year!). The memories will never fade nor will our love for Brian (he will always be Bra Bra to us!). The pain and suffering are over now Bra. Rest in peace dear friend. Love always, Claudia and Paul
