Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Karen Diane Topolovec, quien falleció el miércoles 22 de octubre de 2025, a la edad de 67 años. Nacida en Kenosha, WI el 4 de julio de 1958, hija de Theodore y Dorothy (Cundari) Topolovec. Karen se graduó de Bradford High School y obtuvo su título de asociado de Gateway Technical. Karen era un espíritu vibrante cuya risa y amor serán muy extrañados por todos los que la conocieron.
Karen dedicó su carrera a trabajar en cirugía y después para un médico otorrinolaringólogo. Estaba comprometida con su trabajo en el sector sanitario y pasó años marcando la diferencia en la vida de los demás. Su cálido corazón se extendía mucho más allá de su profesión, ya que apreciaba el tiempo que pasaba cocinando, riendo y creando recuerdos con amigos y familiares. Por encima de todo, encontraba la alegría en la comodidad de su hogar, rodeada de sus seres queridos, especialmente de su mejor amigo, Dominic.
Le sobreviven su querida hija, Thea (Tommy Hamilton) Topolovec; su nieto, Dominic; su hermano, David (Lygia) Topolovec; y su hermana, Beth (Alim) Ray y sus bebés de peluche, Teddie, Cheeto, Frito y Gus-Gus. Siempre la llevarán en el corazón como una fuente de amor e inspiración.
Además de sus padres, Karen fue precedida en la muerte por dos hermanos en la infancia.
Descansa en paz, Karen. Tu amor y tu luz seguirán brillando en los corazones de todos los que te querían.

noviembre 5, 2025I first met Karen when she worked for Dr. Vedder. I was instantly impressed by her friendliness and professionalism. I then saw her again at the Somers Clinic where my Drs. office is. So sorry to hear of her passing. Condolences to her family and friends.

noviembre 4, 2025Karen brought joy to everyone she met. My only memories of her are with her smiling face and laughter. I’ve not heard a song by the B52’s or The Roaches without thinking of Karen, dancing and singing. 💜

Your mom was the sweetest person. I knew her for the entire time she was at St . Catherine’s. She truly was the kindest person. You were so blessed to have her as your mother. Loosing your mum is one of the hardest things to do. My heartfelt condolences and prayers.

Her kindness, generosity and her very unique sense of humor made it impossible not to love her. We had many fun times and a crazy amount of laughter. She worked hard all of her life and was the first one there if you needed her. She was a one of a kind person and will be so missed by all who love her.
