Charlotte I. Martin

29 de octubre de 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Isabel Martin, who left us unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 24. Born on September 22, 2001, to Corydon and Angela Martin in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Charlotte was a bright and compassionate soul whose contributions to her community will be remembered and cherished.
A recent graduate of Marquette University, Charlotte earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Social Welfare and Justice. Her passion for the environment and dedication to educating future generations led her to work as a Senior Environmental Educator for Nature's Classroom Institute, where she made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless children. Charlotte's commitment to healthier and alternative ways of living showcased her belief in living harmoniously with the planet.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Charlotte was deeply involved in her community, securing vital resources and education for Milwaukee's youth through her work with community centers and health clinics. Her love for nature often guided her pursuits, as she enjoyed long walks in the woods with her beloved dogs, capturing the beauty around her through reading and exploring video games. Collaging and crafting with her friends was time she treasured dearly.
Charlotte is survived by her devoted mother, Angela (Rosie Kae) Martin; her loving father, Corydon (Jean Tippett) Martin and her cherished sister, Julia Martin. Each of them holds dear the vibrant spirit and kindness Charlotte brought to their lives and the wider community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Racine Montessori School, 2317 Howe St, Racine, WI (https://www.racinemontessori.com/ways-to-give).
Charlotte will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit continues to inspire those who carry on her legacy of compassion, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

noviembre 5, 2025I was so sorry to hear yesterday about Charlotte's loss. I worked with her for a few months at Nature's Classroom, and her sense of humor and deep compassion for those around her were a model for what an educator should be. She was great with children and with animals, quick with a joke, and always willing to lend an ear to those who needed to be heard. May her memory be a blessing.

noviembre 5, 2025I just have to say, I befriended Charlotte my senior year of college, so I didn’t know her long, but my goodness I grew to know her well. There was no one else I would rather see when coming back to my apartment. No one else I loved more as a visitor than Charlotte. She was the greatest soul. Her energy was everything. Her motives and care for mental health awareness and the environment always stood out to me. I loved her so dearly and I always will. Sending thoughts and prayers to you all.

noviembre 4, 2025I feel awful about not being able to make it today from DC. I am sending so much love to Angie, Julia, and the family. Charlotte got me through some of the roughest points in my life when almost nobody else knew what was going on or how to help. She gave me a lot of grace and love when I really needed it. Since leaving Wisconsin for college, she's really been the only friend I've spent time with when I come home. I miss her, and there are many things I wish I'd gotten the chance to tell her while she was here. I love you, Charlotte. Rest easy.

noviembre 4, 2025My daughter was friends with Charlotte for years. And while I never met you, Angela, I wanted to tell you what an amazing young woman she was. She would bop in and out of our house with my daughter, and always had a smile for me. I can see in my mind her smiling face as she waved at me saying "Hi Mrs. Johnston!" You couldn't help being in a good mood when you saw her. I will miss her coming around, loving my dogs and my kid. My heart breaks for your entire family. Please accept the condolences of our entire family.
