Luanne A. Olson

Luanne Annette Olson, age 86, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center.

Born in Austin, MN on October 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Gwendolynne (Field) Wiel.

Luanne moved from Des Plaines, IL 30 years ago making the Kenosha area her home. She was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ in Twin Lakes, WI. Luanne had many talents which included sewing, quilting, and knitting. She also enjoyed reading and traveling; but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.

On November 28, 1952, Luanne was united in marriage to Hale Olson in the Chicago Area. After spending 50 years together, Hale preceded her in death.

She worked for her husband’s company, Ampress Brick Company in Des Plaines, IL. Luanne was a long-time member of the Des Plaines Garden Club and volunteered at The Sharing Center in Trevor, WI.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bruno) Nesci; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Olson; her grandchildren, Nathan (Joy) Nesci, Jonathan (Christine) Nesci, Sarah and Stephen (Katie) Nesci and Matthew (Jamee) Olson; her great-grandchildren, Bella, Luke, Zander, Austin, Aiden, Henry and Will Nesci and Avery Olson.

In addition to her parents, Luanne was preceded in death by her husband, Hale Olson and her son, Keith Olson.
