November 2, 1941 - December 16, 2020 Service Date: December 28, 2020 SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home Funeral services honoring Sue’s life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144. Interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Sue will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. Mabel Sue Bacus, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Born in Deering, MO on November 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Etta (Williams) Palmer. She was a graduate of Adrian High School and attended Gateway Technical College. On July 4, 1959, Sue was united in marriage to Lehman R. Bacus in Adrian, MI. They were blessed with 61 years of marriage and two wonderful children. She was a member of Church of Christ. She was employed as a Secretary with Abbot Laboratories for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her loving husband, Lehman; her daughter, Diana (Tim) Leach and her children, Aaron (May) Bradshaw, Aimee (Benjamin) Barber and Adam Bradshaw; and her son, Jerry (Kelly) Bacus and their children Melissa, Leslie and Molly Bacus; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. A special thanks to Shauna Murray for the compassionate care given to Sue. | |
