I was born in Kenosha and have lived here my whole life, other than the 4 years I attended Marian College, now Marian University, in Fond du Lac WI. I earned a Bachelor of nursing degree. I married Joe Werwie and went on to work at St. Catherine’s Hospital on Kenosha’ Northside. I first worked on a medical floor, but switched to Obstetrics. I also taught Lamaze Childbirth classes. I retired from nursing in 2000.
We have a daughter and 3 sons, seven Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter. I love being Grammy, but sadly they all live out of town.
I was always interested in supporting people during stressful and sad times, so I began working at Piasecki Funeral Home in 2001. I have been with Nancy Piasecki and her team for 21 years and have seen many changes, but we strive to help each individual family with dignity and caring.
I enjoy Petrified Springs Park and all it has to offer, like walking the trails or paths in all the seasons of the year, and enjoying the people and music at the Biergarten, May through October!
