(Jack) Smith"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John T. &#8220;Jack&#8221; Smith, age 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at St. Joseph&#8217;s Home for the Aged.<br \/>\nBorn on June 1, 1930, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late George D. and Elmira (Hansen) Smith.  He attended local schools and was a graduate of Kenosha High School.<br \/>\nOn February 3, 1951, he was united in marriage to Marilyn &#8220;Meredith&#8221; Smith in the rectory of St. James Catholic Church.  She preceded him in death on July 22, 2011.<br \/>\nJack was employed as a machinist with Ladish\/Tri-Clover for 37 years, retiring in 1992.<br \/>\nHe was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and was an avid bowler and golfer.<br \/>\nJack will be deeply missed by his three children, Deborah (Donald) Pegoraro, Thomas (Kathy) and David (Dawn) Smith; a brother, James (Marge) Smith; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.<br \/>\nIn addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Smith, Jr.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/piasecki-althaus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/John-T.----Jack----Smith.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View Archived Condolences for John T. \u201cJack\u201d Smith<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>In accordance with Jack&#8217;s wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Home for the Aged Chapel, 9244 29th Avenue.
