Eugene Majerko, 80, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at HCR Manor Care of Kenosha.
\nBorn on November 6, 1933, he was the son of the late Andrew and Katherine (Bakula) Majerko. He attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
\nHe proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from February 17, 1953, until his honorable discharge on April 6, 1954.
\nOn June 27, 1956, he was united in marriage to Vivian M. Weidner in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2008.
\nFor many years, Eugene held various positions with AMC\/Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1980. <\/p>\n
He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #973 and U.A.W. Local 72. Eugene was very creative and industrious in his workshop.
\nSurviving Eugene are his children, John Majerko and Mary Majerko, both of Kenosha and his brothers, Raymond (Rosie) Majerko of Kenosha and Robert (Connie) Majerko of Racine.
\nIn addition to his parents and wife, Eugene was preceded in death by a sister, Helen.<\/p>\n
