Collins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, November 5, 2014, Bruce P. Collins, a former resident of Kenosha, passed away at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, he was 79.<br \/>\nBorn on July 17, 1935 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late George and Irene (Burr) Collins. He attended local schools and was a graduate from Mary D. Bradford High School.<br \/>\nBruce honorably served in the U.S. Army for two years.<br \/>\nAfter his military service, he was employed and retired as an inspector with AMC\/Chrysler Corporation.<br \/>\nHe was a longtime member of the former St. George Catholic Church. Bruce spent his final years living in the St. Paul, MN area He will be remembered for his hearty laugh and his generous nature. He loved sports and in his younger years, he was an avid basketball player.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his four children, Sandy Collins, Vickie (Jr.) Baldwin, Linda Collins, and Michael (Sue) Collins; his brother, George Collins; his sister, Mary Ann Niemi; his four grandchildren, Audrey, Allison, Kate, and Brooke; and nine great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/piasecki-althaus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Bruce-P-Collins.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View Archived Condolences for Bruce P Collins<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>A Memorial Service in celebration of Bruce&#8217;s life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.
