Zuehlsdorf"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Francis P. \u201cFran\u201d Zuehlsdorf, age 92 of Kenosha, died at his home on Sunday, February 15, 2015, with his loving wife by his side.<\/p>\n<p>A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on November 27, 1922 and was the son of the late Henry and Anna (Pfaff) Zuehlsdorf.\u00a0 He attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.<\/p>\n<p>During WWII, he honorably served our country in the U.S. Marines.<\/p>\n<p>On January 26, 1945 at St. Mary\u2019s Lutheran Church, he was united in marriage to LaVerne J. Anthonsen.<\/p>\n<p>For many years, he owned and operated Millar Insurance Agency.\u00a0 Fran was previously employed with the U.S. Postal Service.<\/p>\n<p>Fran was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lions Club of Downtown Kenosha and the former Elks Lodge #750 in Kenosha.\u00a0 He enjoyed golfing, reading; especially mysteries and was an avid Packer fan.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, LaVerne Zuehlsdorf; his children, Alan Zuehlsdorf of Lake Geneva and Jan (Bill) Arneberg of Brookfield; his grandson, Scott Arneberg; his granddaughter, Sara (Christopher) Kaiser; and three great grandchildren, Julia Lucey-Arneberg, Carson Kaiser and Emma Kaiser.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
