Resch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Randy P. Resch, age 62 of Kenosha died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kenosha on July 12, 1952, he was the son of Raymond and Rose (Hickey) Resch.\u00a0 He attended local schools and was a 1970 graduate from Tremper High School.<\/p>\n<p>On August 1, 1981 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Carla Ricciardi.\u00a0 Their union was blessed with one son, Jacob.\u00a0 Their marriage later dissolved.<\/p>\n<p>Randy was employed for 15 years as a machinist with Tri-Clover\/Alfa Laval, retiring due to poor health.\u00a0 Previously, he was employed as a dock worker with the Kenosha Harbor and was a cook at Krok\u2019s Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Randy enjoyed Badger football and basketball, the Dallas Cowboys and fishing.\u00a0 In his younger years, he was an expert water skier and he would spend his summers on Silver Lake perfecting his rooster tail.\u00a0 Randy will be remembered by the Resch Family as the family chef.\u00a0 He would prepare New Year\u2019s Surf \u2018n\u2019 Turf, Easter Ham, Thanksgiving Turkey and the annual \u201cRavioli Day\u201d in preparation for the Resch Family Christmas gathering.<\/p>\n<p>Randy dearly loved his son Jake and was one of his biggest fans.\u00a0 He was so proud of him and his many accomplishments.\u00a0 Randy was always in attendance at Jake\u2019s basketball and lacrosse games, and he coached his CYC basketball team.\u00a0 One of Randy\u2019s favorite memories was when Jake and he attended the NCAA Men\u2019s Final Four.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his son, Jacob Resch; his father, Raymond Resch; his brother, Roger (Tina) Resch; his sister, Kathleen (Michael) Haye; his nieces, Jessica and Annalizza; his great-nephews, Michael and Maxim; and his former spouse, Carla Resch.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose; and his nephew, Joshua Resch.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>A Memorial Service in celebration of Randy\u2019s life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home,3720 39th Ave.,Kenosha, WI.
