{"id":15239,"date":"2015-09-02T12:54:52","date_gmt":"2015-09-02T17:54:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/john-n-jack-palmer\/"},"modified":"2015-09-02T12:54:52","modified_gmt":"2015-09-02T17:54:52","slug":"john-n-jack-palmer","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/john-n-jack-palmer\/","title":{"rendered":"John N. &#8220;Jack&#8221; Palmer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John N. \u201cJack\u201d Palmer, 72 of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus with his family and their love at his side.<\/p>\n<p>Jack was born in Kenosha on March 25, 1943 and was the son of the late Joseph and Adeline (Ritchie) Palmer.\u00a0 He was educated in local schools.<\/p>\n<p>On July 11, 1964 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, he was married to Marie Rosko.\u00a0 They were blessed with two wonderful sons.<\/p>\n<p>Jack was involved in the meat industry his entire working life.\u00a0 For over 30 years, Jack was an expert meat cutter and sausage maker working at Quality Meats in Kenosha and later owned the business.\u00a0 Jack loved processing deer sausage during the hunting season and smoking fish for his customers.<\/p>\n<p>He was a very outgoing, friendly person and was always willing to lend a helping hand.\u00a0 Jack liked watching his sons participate in sporting events as they were growing up.\u00a0 He enjoyed playing cards and watching the Green Bay Packers.\u00a0 Many lifetime memories were made at Thanksgiving when Jack would make turducken (a boneless turkey, duck and chicken combination) at his granddaughter\u2019s request.<\/p>\n<p>Jack will be forever missed by his family and friends.\u00a0 Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 50 years, Marie; their sons, Douglas (Joanie) Palmer and Jeffery Palmer; his adored grandchildren, Kayla, Doug, Jr., Zachary, Gabbie and Kane Palmer; his brothers-in-law, John Rosko and Tom (Keni) Rosko; his former sister-in-law, Kaye (Tom) Middlecamp; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James, William and Joseph Palmer; and his father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Rosko.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>In accordance with Jack\u2019s wishes, private funeral services will be held.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John N. \u201cJack\u201d Palmer, 72 of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus with his family and their love at his side.
