{"id":15066,"date":"2016-01-16T09:21:19","date_gmt":"2016-01-16T15:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/ermerlene-erma-ritacca\/"},"modified":"2016-01-16T09:21:19","modified_gmt":"2016-01-16T15:21:19","slug":"ermerlene-erma-ritacca","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/ermerlene-erma-ritacca\/","title":{"rendered":"Ermerlene \u201cErma\u201d Ritacca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ermerlene \u201cErma\u201d Ritacca, age 82 of Kenosha, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Aurora-St. Luke\u2019s Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Barton , Arkansas on April 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Lena Lee (Hughes) Skinner.\u00a0 She was a graduate of Central High School in Helena, Arkansas.\u00a0 Erma moved to Kenosha shortly after her graduation.<\/p>\n<p>She began her working career at Quaker Stretcher.\u00a0 Erma was a well liked waitress for many, many years at several local restaurants.\u00a0\u00a0 She was manager at Deli Food Express that was located on 75<sup>th<\/sup> St. and 29<sup>th<\/sup> Ave. and worked in various offices at U.W.-Parkside.\u00a0 Erma also did private home health care.<\/p>\n<p>Erma was a lifetime member of Kenosha Family Church-Church of the Nazarene and the Young at Heart Club.\u00a0 She enjoyed bowling on the U.W. Parkside League, coached her children\u2019s baseball teams and volunteered for many organizations.\u00a0 Erma was also an avid Packer fan.<\/p>\n<p>Erma\u2019s love and devotion to her family will always be remembered by her children, Rick Ritacca, Glen Ritacca, Carol Ritacca Savaglio and Frank (Vilma) Ritacca II; her grandchildren, Tommy, Vito, Rebecca, Bryan, Angelena, Alyssa, and Luke.<\/p>\n<p>She is further survived by her brothers, Chester (Ann) and Earl (Ruth) Skinner; and many loving nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son (twin of Rick) Louis E. Ritacca; her brothers, Myrl, James, Boyd, John, Layma and Elvis \u201cNick\u201d Skinner; her sisters, Naomi Johnston and Bernice Snyder; and her son-in-law, Alex Savaglio.<\/p>\n<p><em>Erma\u2019s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Zeihen, Dr. Ramanuja Manda and the Cardiac and ICU Teams at St. Luke\u2019s in Milwaukee.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Kenosha Family Church-Church of the Nazarene, 3910 27th St.  Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ermerlene \u201cErma\u201d Ritacca, age 82 of Kenosha, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Aurora-St. Luke\u2019s Medical Center.
