Charles B. Callahan, age 80 died on Friday, June 24, 2016 at United Hospital System \u2013 Kenosha Hospital Campus.<\/p>\n
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on September 23, 1935 and was the son of the late Joseph and Amy (Rupp) Callahan.<\/p>\n
On October 4, 1997 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Nancy Kazin.<\/p>\n
He was employed as a mechanical engineer with Martin Peterson Sheet Metal Company.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Callahan; his three children, Kelly Callahan, Katie (Todd) Thomas and Danny Callahan; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers, two sisters; three step-children, Kim Kiraly, Linda (Jeffrey) Paasch and Jodi (Peter) Aiello; nine step-grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.<\/p>\n
A Memorial Service honoring Charles will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th ave., Kenosha, WI. Full military honors will follow the service.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
