Despins, age 95 of Kenosha, died on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Brookside Care and Rehab Center.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kenosha on February 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Julie (Domalik) Leszkowicz.<\/p>\n<p>She attended St. Casimir Elementary School.<\/p>\n<p>In October, 1947, she was united in marriage to Edwin Despins. After 43 years of marriage, Edwin preceded her in death in 1990.<\/p>\n<p>Esther was employed as a seamstress with Coopers\/Jockey International.<\/p>\n<p>She was a member of St. Peter\u2019s Catholic Church and the Cooper Club.<\/p>\n<p>Esther was a dedicated volunteer at St. Catherine\u2019s Hospital. She liked to garden, sew and bake. Esther\u2019s pies were the best and she enjoyed sharing them with her family and friends. Most of all, Esther enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her sister, Lillian (Phil) Romanowski; her nephews, Kelly (Donna) Mullaly, Jeff (Ulle) Romanowski, Jerry Romanowski and Jack Romanowski; and her nieces, Lori (Mark) Albert and Renee (Don) Romanowski-Parker.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Mullaly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services honoring Esther\u2019s life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.
