Puhek, age 81 of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at her residence.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Tuscola, IL on October 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Esther Mae (Hardt) Larimer.  <\/p>\n<p>Esther received her Master\u2019s Degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.<\/p>\n<p>On July 29, 1961 in Decatur, IL, she married Norman J. Puhek.  They had a strong and loving marriage for 33 years.  He preceded her in death on February 4, 1995.<\/p>\n<p>She was employed with Kenosha Memorial Hospital and Kenosha Public Library.                               .<\/p>\n<p>Esther will be celebrated by her daughter, Sarah (Brad) Poikonen; her son, John Matthew \u201cMatt\u201d (Bridget) Puhek; her grandchildren, Cory, Megan and Erin Puhek and Reed Poikonen; and her kitty cats, Spooky and Mooky.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services honoring Esther\u2019s life will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.
