David C. Mogensen, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2017. <\/p>\n
Born in Racine, WI on February 4, 1963, he was the son of Richard and Geralyn (nee: Pallesen) Mogensen. <\/p>\n
He graduated in 1981 from Racine Washington Park High School. <\/p>\n
David was united in marriage to Heather Berg at Emmaus United Methodist Church on October 30th, 2004. Their marriage was blessed with many years of love and happiness. <\/p>\n
David\u2019s career was with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department. He started as a dispatcher in 1987 and quickly rose through the ranks, retiring as Deputy Chief in 2016. <\/p>\n
Some of David\u2019s passions were photography and spending time fishing and relaxing on Shawano Lake. He also enjoyed Astronomy and was a board member of the Racine Astronomical Society.<\/p>\n
David is survived by his wife Heather; his mother, Geralyn; siblings, Linda (Bill) Brossard, Richard (Michele) Mogensen, Shari (Scott) Hansen and Michael (Carri) Mogensen; and loving nieces and nephews, Amanda, Ashley, Nicholas, Amanda, Tom, Jeni, Jason, Alyssa and Eric. <\/p>\n
He is further survived by in-laws, Richard and Karen (nee: Martorano) Berg and brother-in-law, John (Gwen) Berg. He will also be missed by his canine companions Tigger and Pooh. <\/p>\n
