{"id":14046,"date":"2018-02-06T08:33:51","date_gmt":"2018-02-06T14:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/marion-duczak\/"},"modified":"2018-02-06T08:33:51","modified_gmt":"2018-02-06T14:33:51","slug":"marion-duczak","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/marion-duczak\/","title":{"rendered":"Marion Duczak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marion (nee: Hauser) Duczak, age 93, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 1, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kenosha on September 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Rose (Schiller) Hauser.\u00a0 She attended St. George School and was a 1941 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.<\/p>\n<p>On April 21, 1945 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Chester Duczak.\u00a0 He preceded her in death on January 2, 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Marion was the Vice President of M.J. Duczak Furniture Company until it closed in 1986.\u00a0 In her younger years, Marion was employed by Hollywood Theater, Coopers and Bardens.<\/p>\n<p>She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.\u00a0 Marion volunteered as the Treasurer of St. Catherine\u2019s coffee shop and was a member of St. Casimir\u2019s Women\u2019s Auxiliary.\u00a0 She supported Women\u2019s and Children\u2019s Horizons through the Kenosha Women\u2019s City Golf Tournament for over ten years.<\/p>\n<p>Her life will be remembered by her sons, Richard, Michael (Sue), Raymond (Kim) and Robert (Karen) Duczak; her daughters, Roseann (Ron) Ellis and Ellen (Tom) Bothe; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty eight great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maggi Duczak; her sister, Doris Molinaro; a brother, Floyd Hauser; and daughter-in&#8211;law, Linda (nee:\u00a0 St. John) Duczak.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services honoring Marion\u2019s life will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter\u2019s Catholic Church, 2224 30th Avenue.
