{"id":14042,"date":"2018-02-07T15:12:40","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T21:12:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/richard-g-dick-arnold\/"},"modified":"2018-02-07T15:12:40","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T21:12:40","slug":"richard-g-dick-arnold","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/richard-g-dick-arnold\/","title":{"rendered":"Richard  G. &#8220;Dick&#8221; Arnold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Richard G. \u201cDick\u201d Arnold, age 87 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018, with his loving family at his side.<\/p>\n<p>Born on November 24, 1930, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Jennie (Portle) Arnold.\u00a0 He attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.<\/p>\n<p>He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean War.\u00a0 He was honorably discharge in November, 1953.<\/p>\n<p>On May 28, 1966, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, he married Felicia Aceto.<\/p>\n<p>Dick was employed at American Brass and later Arco Metals, for 36 years.\u00a0 He retired on December 1, 1985, as the General Supervisor of Drawn Copper West Department.<\/p>\n<p>Dick\u2019s hobbies in early life included fishing trips to Ontario, Canada, and enjoying deer and small game hunting.<\/p>\n<p>He also participated in bowling leagues in Kenosha and going to National and State Tournaments.\u00a0 Dick was an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago White Sox fan.\u00a0 After retirement, Dick enjoyed golfing and going to casinos.\u00a0 He adored the family dog, Gibson.<\/p>\n<p>Dick will always be remembered by his loving wife of 51 years, Felicia and his son, Michael R. Arnold.\u00a0 He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Casazza and Dorothy Arnoldini; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Joan Aceto and Mike and Rosemary Stankey.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral Services honoring Dick\u2019s life will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
