Ruth B. Norville, age 79 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Froedtert South \u2013 St. Catherine\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n
She was born on February 3, 1939 in Kenosha. Ruth attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D.\u00a0 Bradford High School.<\/p>\n
She was united in marriage to Ronald Norville. Their marriage was later dissolved.<\/p>\n
Ruth began her nursing career in 1964 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and eventually took a position at Brookside Care Center.\u00a0 Ruth was elected as the Director of the LPN Association.\u00a0 To further her career, Ruth attended an accelerated nursing program and became a Registered Nurse.\u00a0\u00a0 Her brief employment with Hospice Alliance, Inc. was one of her most rewarding jobs.\u00a0 She was also employed at the Bristol Renaissance Fair.<\/p>\n
Ruth loved gardening and was a master gardener. She was a talented crafter and liked to knit and crochet.\u00a0 Ruth was an avid collector of antiques and especially had a passion for depression glass.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Wayne) Schoen; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Veronica Gerlach, Mark Christopher Norville, Raquel Mokus as an infant and David Norville; and her former spouse, Ronald Norville.<\/p>\n
