Bleil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Patricia H. Bleil, age 66, of Kenosha passed\u00a0away\u00a0suddenly at\u00a0Froedtert South-St. Catherine\u2019s Medical Center on\u00a0Monday, October 15, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kenosha on February\u00a06, 1952, she was the fifth of seven children of the late Dr. Robert and Margaret (Tully) Heller, Sr.\u00a0 Patte\u00a0attended\u00a0St. James Elementary School, graduated from\u00a0St. Joseph High School\u00a0and attended University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0June 19, 1981, she was married\u00a0to\u00a0William Bleil\u00a0at\u00a0St. James Catholic Church.\u00a0 After getting their start in Milwaukee, they spent time in North Carolina and Fayetteville, Arkansas before settling in Kenosha in 1994.\u00a0 Over this time, they were blessed with three wonderful children.\u00a0 Patte embraced motherhood with the loving kindness that is her defining trait, and the family thrived under her care.\u00a0 Her devotion to her children, and to Bill, was absolute.\u00a0 Patte\u2019s two young grandsons, Arlo and Felix, shared in this love from the moment they arrived.\u00a0 She adored them without end.<\/p>\n<p>It is no surprise that caring for others was also the central theme of Patte\u2019s other pursuits.\u00a0 She worked as an x-ray technician and as a kindergarten and preschool teacher at local schools.\u00a0 She generously gave her time to many charitable causes and events, especially the Kenosha Hospice House and countless school fundraisers &#8211; even after the kids had all graduated!<\/p>\n<p>In her spare time, Patte took great delight in finding outlets for her creative spirit. \u00a0She\u00a0was\u00a0a talented artist\u00a0in\u00a0watercolor, oil painting and stain glass designs. \u00a0She launched into new projects with incredible gusto, and her positive outlook is joyfully evident in even the plainest subject of one of her still life paintings.\u00a0 Patte also enjoyed spending time outdoors. She and Bill took the kids skiing locally and in search of longer runs at ski hills out west.\u00a0 She was an avid golfer who made any round more fun.\u00a0 If there happened to be a spare evening in the week, it was quickly filled with league bowling, bocce, bike rides, knitting or some other activity with family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>The enduring legacy of Patte Bleil will be the impact of her total selflessness.\u00a0 Her empathy for family, friends, and even strangers is legendary.\u00a0 In everything that she did, Patte was guided by a desire to make life better and happier.\u00a0 She loved everyone, and was loved by all in return.<\/p>\n<p>She will be deeply missed by her husband, Bill; their\u00a0children,\u00a0Ashley (Ren\u00e9) Buys, Andrew \u201cBuck\u201d Bleil and Abigale \u201cAbby\u201d Bleil; two grandchildren, Arlo and Felix Buys;\u00a0her siblings, Dr. Robert \u201cBuzz\u201d (Mary Kay) Heller, Katie (Barry) Wojtak, Dr. Margaret Heller, Thomas (Debbie) Heller, and Annie (Dan) Weatherbee\u00a0and her brother in law, Bill Whyte\u00a0along with many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by\u00a0her\u00a0sister, Jane Whyte.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Patte&#8217;s life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7117 14th Avenue.
