Stec, age 75 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Casa del Mar\u00e9 at St. Catherine Commons.<\/p>\n<p>Born on April 17, 1943; the daughter of the late Caradoc and Benigda \u201cPeg\u201d Rowlands. She attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.<\/p>\n<p>Maralyn married Leonard A. Stec on April 18, 1964 at St. James Catholic Church.<\/p>\n<p>She worked in the registrar\u2019s office at Carthage College and then at Abbott Laboratories, retiring after 20 years in the Benefits Department.<\/p>\n<p>Maralyn was a loving wife; the best mother and doting grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She had a special love for her dog, Fonzie and her grand dogs, Maggie and Brian. As a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Maralyn was instrumental in heading up the festival raffle for many years. She volunteered at the public library; an incredible giving person who touched many lives. She loved being part of her friends group known as the \u201cAnimals\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Maralyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lenny; her daughters, Susan (Michael) Wade and Cindi (John) Walther; her grandchildren, Zachary and Kyle Wade; Ashley, Abby and Amy Walther and her sister Pam Mattioda.<\/p>\n<p>Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Deginan.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Maralyn\u2019s life will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7307 40th Avenue.
