Marie A. Schick, age 53 of Bristol, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 24, 2018.<\/p>\n
Born in Detroit, MI on April 13, 1965, she was the daughter of John A. and Karen M. (Harrington) Piragis.<\/p>\n
What a glorious day it was on May 6, 1989, when Marie\u2019s father walked her down the aisle and she was united in marriage to Steven Schick.<\/p>\n
To fulfill Marie\u2019s many career ambitions, she was employed as an assistance nurses aid, assistant teacher\u2019s aide, sales associate and assistant manager.<\/p>\n
Marie attended St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.\u00a0 She enjoyed spending time reading, writing and listening to music.\u00a0 Marie liked to escape the normal hustle and bustle of life and go to the Bristol Renaissance Fair where she was named \u201cQueen\u201d.\u00a0 She also liked to take walks, swim, bicycle riding or just hang out with her family and friends. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Her greatest accomplishment in life was her two beautiful daughters.<\/p>\n
Her life was complete when she was in the surrounding of her family.<\/p>\n
Marie will be remembered by her loving husband, Steven; her mother, Karen Piragis; her two daughters, Rebecca Piragis and Rachael Schick; and her two brothers, Bill and Matt Piragis.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her father, John Piragis, Sr. and a brother, John Anthony Piragis, Jr.<\/p>\n
Funeral Services honoring Marie\u2019s life will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th avenue, Kenosha, WI. <\/p>\n
Interment will take place on Monday, December 31st at 10:00 a.m. in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
