Joan C. Lang, age 82 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Froedtert South \u2013 Kenosha Hospital Campus.<\/p>\n
Born in Kenosha on December 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Charlotte (Nordbye) Steinhoff.<\/p>\n
On September 25, 1954 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, she was united in marriage to John R. Lang.\u00a0 After 50 years of marriage, John passed away on December 15, 2004.<\/p>\n
For 45 years, Joan was a caring and compassionate certified nursing assistant with St. Catherine\u2019s and Kenosha Memorial Hospitals.\u00a0 She unselfishly gave of herself to all who needed her.<\/p>\n
Joan was a wonderful baker creating treats which she loved to share with everyone.\u00a0 She had a passion for reading, playing bingo, slots and taking the occasional trip to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her three children, David Lang, Debra (David) Crucianelli and Susan Lang; her grandchildren, Daniel (Aimee) Crucianelli and Ashley Crucianelli; and her siblings, James (Alberta) Steinhoff and Sandra (Donald) Kirschbaum.<\/p>\n
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kertz.<\/p>\n

A gathering of relatives and friends honoring Joan\u2019s life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
