{"id":13271,"date":"2019-08-06T10:41:14","date_gmt":"2019-08-06T15:41:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/jean-grevenow\/"},"modified":"2019-08-06T10:41:14","modified_gmt":"2019-08-06T15:41:14","slug":"jean-grevenow","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/jean-grevenow\/","title":{"rendered":"Jean Grevenow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jean Grevenow, age 64 of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Froedtert South\u2013Pleasant Prairie Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kenosha on September 20, 1954, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Marion (Champion) Grevenow.\u00a0 Jean attended local schools and was a 1972 graduate of Tremper High School.<\/p>\n<p>For 40 years, Jean dedicated herself to her position in the Administrative Dept. at Gateway Technical College.<\/p>\n<p>She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church and she sang in the Sweet Adeline\u2019s of Racine.<\/p>\n<p>Jean will be remembered as having a great sense of humor, being very smart and witty.\u00a0 She liked reading, shopping and rummaging.\u00a0 Jean was thrilled to attend any school-related and recreational events of her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.\u00a0 Jean was always available to support her loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her sister, Judy (Don) Peden; her nephews, Jim (Jody) and Jerry Peden; her niece, Jill (Joe) Loewen and her great nieces and nephews, John Hix-Peden and Eric Peden, Erin, Josh, Justine, Robin and Kayla Loewen.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her parents.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Jean\u2019s life will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5038 19<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.\u00a0 Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.\u00a0 A visitation will be held <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, August 7<sup>th<\/sup> from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI, 53144\u00a0 and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at Friedens Evangelical Church.\u00a0 The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5038 19<sup>th<\/sup> Ave., Kenosha, WI\u00a0 53140, would be appreciated.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jean Grevenow, age 64 of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Froedtert South\u2013Pleasant Prairie Campus.
