Sadly, he preceded her in death on July 17, 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">Throughout Sophie\u2019s life she held various jobs. The job that she loved the most was being a crossing guard for the city of Kenosha and taking care of the children she crossed on their way to school. Prior to that she had worked at various pharmacies in Kenosha and in her earlier life, she worked at Simmons Company and Nash motors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">She was a member of St. Mary\u2019s Catholic church and The Moose Lodge #155<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">Sophie loved to crochet and had a passion for reading mysteries and romance novels. She enjoyed playing bingo with her lady friends at the Moose Club.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">She leaves behind her son, David (Barbara) Zebrowski, her grandchildren, David (Chrissy) Zebrowski jr., Carolyn (Jeremy) Ruby, Danielle Zebrowski and Christine (Ryan) Walentowski; her great grandchildren, Chance, Carson, Lily, Siri, Chrysta, Nika, Savannah, Ryder and Lucas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">In addition to her parents, daughter Karen and husband Calix, Sophie was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Panasewicz and her sisters, Irene Hibbard and Jeanette Statema.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Sophie\u2019s life was held privately.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sophie Zebrowski, age 98, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 She was born on May 15, 1922, to the late John and Amelia (Manzekowitz) Panasewicz.
