Margarita Gomez, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her home.<\/p>\n

Born on January 13, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA. to Jose and Angela (Torres) Valdez.<\/p>\n

On October 24, 1954 she was united in marriage to Antonio Gomez in Lytle, Texas.<\/p>\n

In her free time, Margarita enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, playing Rummy & Kings Corner, word search puzzles, embroidery and crocheting.<\/p>\n

She will be dearly missed by her children, Maria (Dan) Foreman, Gloria Parreant, Jovita Wates, Julio (Kathy) Gomez, Jose Gomez; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and her sister Benita Hewlett.<\/p>\n

Margarita was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her brothers, Jesus Valdez, Louis Valdez, Ruben Valdez; her sons, Antonio Gomez and Eduardo Gomez.<\/p>\n

Time of family sharing honoring Margarita\u2019s life will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home.<\/p>\n

El entierro tendr\u00e1 lugar en el cementerio de Green Ridge.<\/p>\n

A visitation for Margarita will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made in Margarita\u2019s honor to The Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 www.hospicealliance.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
