{"id":12257,"date":"2021-10-26T17:28:57","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T22:28:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/obituary\/frances-kauzrich\/"},"modified":"2021-10-26T17:28:57","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T22:28:57","slug":"frances-kauzrich","status":"publish","type":"obituary","link":"https:\/\/www.kenoshafuneralhome.com\/es\/obituary\/frances-kauzrich\/","title":{"rendered":"Frances Kauzrich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Frances Kay (Thompson) Kauzrich, age 80, peacefully passed away in her home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, surrounded by her family.<\/p>\n<p>Born on August 27, 1941 in Clintonville, WI, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Davison) and Harvey Thompson.\u00a0On June 30, 1979, Fran was married to the love of her life, Fred Kauzrich. They spent fifty-three years by each other\u2019s side.<\/p>\n<p>She tended bar at various locations in her life, but her favorite was working alongside Fred, at Freddie\u2019s Bar in Kenosha. They retired in 1991 and headed straight to the\u00a0North woods of Wisconsin, to their cottage on the Wisconsin River. Their time on the river was spent with much family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Fran was always able to find the good in people, no matter what. It was through her bartending days that she was able to really shine. She was an avid reader who also loved doing crossword puzzles. Fran\u2019s love for animals was abundant. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter, Kim. Fran loved spending time with her family and was a proud grandma. Her granddaughters Kristy and Kelly were special to her, as they spent much time together. Whether it was cheering on the boys at their games, or traveling to Las Vegas for her\u00a0\u201cKiley Kay\u2019s\u201d birthdays each year she loved the moments\u00a0surrounded by her\u00a0family. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. Fran will\u00a0be greatly missed.<\/p>\n<p>Frances is missed and survived by her\u00a0daughter, Kim (Greg) Graff; her step-children, Tom (Judy) Kauzrich, Fred Kauzrich, Patti (Randy) Michael, Ron Kauzrich and Kathy Reid; her siblings, Terry (Kathy) Thompson, Curt Thompson, Jerry (Dolores)\u00a0Thompson, Larry (Penny Stueck) Thompson, Sandee Thompson, Rhonda (Jeff Laux) Havelick, Kelly (Kevin Connolly) Thompson, and her numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Kauzrich; her parents; her brothers, Gary, Perry, Barry, Harry, Darry Thompson; her sisters, Barb Alleman, Marsha Krause.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Frances\u2019s life will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p>Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation for Frances will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Promedica Hospice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.promedica.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.promedica.org<\/a> or an animal shelter of your choice would be appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Frances Kay (Thompson) Kauzrich, age 80, peacefully passed away in her home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, surrounded by her family.
