Robert Doherty, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Froedtert in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n
Born on May 22, 1951 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late John and Marion (Grube) Doherty. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and earned his associates degree in electronics from Gateway Technical College.<\/p>\n
Throughout the years, Robert worked in machine repair at AMC\/Chrysler, and Caterpillar.<\/p>\n
He was an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching.\u00a0 He loved his annual vacations to Boot Lake with family and friends along with water skiing, camping and general mischief.\u00a0 Robert was known for telling the world\u2019s worst \u201cDad\u201d jokes.<\/p>\n
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sean (Christina) Doherty, Steven (Kriz) Doherty and Justin Doherty; his grandchildren, Christopher, Brendon, Kaitlyn, Tinley and Brysen; his brothers, John Michael \u201cMike\u201d Doherty and Kevin (Laurie) Doherty and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, James (Pat) Doherty, and his sister-in-law, Carol (Gonnering) Doherty.<\/p>\n

Memorial service honoring Robert\u2019s life will be held privately.<\/p>\n
