Corday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Craig John Corday passed away from natural causes on March 19, 2023, three days before his 62<sup>nd<\/sup> birthday on March 22.<\/p>\n<p>Craig was born in Evanston, Illinois to John G. and Judith M. (Swan) Corday.\u00a0 He grew up in Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights in Illinois.\u00a0 Craig was a graduate of Arlington High School and of Northern Illinois University.<\/p>\n<p>Craig was a talented corporate accountant.<\/p>\n<p>In high school, he played on Arlington\u2019s baseball team and was a pitcher with a throwing arm that sent balls across the plate at a rate of 90 miles an hour.\u00a0 Craig remained a devoted friend to the people he met in junior high, high school and college.\u00a0 He continued to make friends everywhere he went.\u00a0 He was an avid concert goer who appreciated blues and classic rock. The Grateful Dead was his lifelong favorite band.\u00a0 Craig truly was an outgoing people person.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Craig loved animals, especially cats. His beloved brown tabby girl, Lucy, has been adopted by his family.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey and his sister, Christine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.\u00a0 Memorial remembrances in Craig\u2019s honor to Lakeland Animal Shelter <a href=\"https:\/\/lakelandanimalshelter.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/lakelandanimalshelter.org<\/a> ser\u00eda de agradecer.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Craig John Corday passed away from natural causes on March 19, 2023, three days before his 62nd birthday on March 22.
