Mesner, age 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital surrounded by her family.<\/p>\n<p>Joan was born October 24, 1941, the daughter of wonderful and loving parents, John and Helen (Montemurro) DiCello and sister of Annette DiCello, all who preceded her in death.\u00a0 She attended local schools, Bain, McKinley and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1959.<\/p>\n<p>She worked at Jupiter Corporation and American Motors.<\/p>\n<p>Joan married Frank Mesner, the love her life and she of his, on September 12, 1970, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.\u00a0 They spent 42 wonderful years together until Frank\u2019s passing on April 8, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Joan was very proud of her Calabrian Heritage and was dedicated to preserving the family customs.\u00a0 She was a long-standing member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and loved their annual festival.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by many cherished cousins and friends.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Joan\u2019s life will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54<sup>th<\/sup> Calle.<\/p>\n<p>Interment at St. George Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation for Joan will be held on Monday June 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at church.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial donations in Joan\u2019s name may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54<sup>th<\/sup> Street, Kenosha, WI 53140 or the National Kidney Foundation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidney.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.kidney.org\/<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joan C.
